The newest hotel of the town of Szeged, the Szent János (Saint John) Hotel****, opened to guests in May, providing comfort, luxury and tranquility to all generations both in terms of location and services.

Our hotel was named after Saint John of Nepomuk, the patron saint of rivers, bridges, boatmen, fishermen and millers, as well as the protector of travellers both on land and water. Feast: May 16.
In the building where our hotel is located, the Pick family lived in the 19th century, who began to produce the world-famous salami here. A grain dealer, Márk Pick bought the corner house at 12 Gutenberg Street in 1885 and one year later, having obtained a permit, he was already producing the „famous salami”. The house was owned by the family until 1945.

Making use of the features of the embellished eclectic building, the new owners created 8 double rooms, 4 two-room family suites, 2 suites (with jacuzzi). The added wing has 6 modern double apartments with kitchenette and one quadruple apartment with kitchen, which can satisfy any demand of a family. The air-conditioned rooms include safe, LCD TV, telephone, Wi-Fi and mini bar for the comfort of our guests. Parking is possible in the hotel’s own underground garage, with parking places for up to 25 cars. In addition, we have a modernly equipped event hall providing an excellent and comfortable venue for conferences, training courses, events, weddings and graduation parties with up to 150 participants. Of course, our hall can be divided, making it suitable for smaller meetings as well.
The hotel also includes a beautiful restaurant. The specialty of the Taj Mahal Restaurant is Indian cuisine, but, of course, our esteemed guests are offered Hungarian and international dishes as well.
In addition to culinary experiences, we can be your partner in organizing other recreation opportunities, too. The recreation and regeneration of our guests is assured by a wellness section (Finnish and infrared saunas, salt room, massage), a gym.
